Shipping Policy
ARC Welding & Safety Supplies utilises third party shipping carriers: NZ Couriers and Global Express New Zealand (Toll Group). Any limitations and/or delays on services provided by each carrier is beyond ARC Welding & Safety Supplies control.
Sales Taxes: We are required to automatically charge and withhold the applicable GST for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Zealand.
Dispatch: Same or Next business day. Orders placed before 2pm are typically shipped the same business day (unless the product is on pre – order or back order for a customer on account). If goods are showing zero stock availability, please, contact us for an estimated arrival date. Transit time begins the day after your order leaves our warehouse.
Transit time:
- Overnight for Business area with NZ Couriers.
- 2 – 5 business day for Rural area with NZ Couriers.
- 3 – 14 days with the Global Express New Zealand.
- 3 – 5 business days for Safety Apparel (Rainwear, Overalls, Shirts, and Pants), directly drop-shipped from the manufacturer to your specified address.
Please note that all times mentioned are estimates only.
ARC Welding & Safety Supplies is not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the Customer due to delivery delays.
Freight Cost:
- Based on the Delivery address and the Order weight and volume.Safety Apparel delivery cost is $20 (Rainwear, Overalls, Shirts, and Pants), calculated separately from other products in your cart.
- For orders on Safety Apparel with a total value over $250 (excluding GST), there is no fee on drop shipping. To avail of this discount, orders on safety apparel need to be placed separately from other category items.
- Products' Delivery which are fragile ether bulky or require a certain type of delivery due to the regulation for transport of Dangerous Goods is a subject of individual calculation.
In the event that the Customer is unable to take Delivery of the Goods as arranged then the Supplier shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for redelivery and/or storage.
Customers on Trade Account:
The freight charges calculated for your order will be based on your current contract with ARC Welding & Safety Supplies. The freight cost is shown during check out will be adjusted in final invoice accordingly. Please contact your ARC Welding & Safety Supplies representative for full details of your account freight rate.
Retail Customers:
The freight fee will be calculated during check-out and is based on address provided.
The freight for orders sending by the Global Express New Zealand (usually they are orders with Bulky items and Dangerous Goods required Chem Couriers delivery) will be calculated separately. You will be contacted by ARC Welding & Safety Supplies team after your payment has been received for an extra freight payments.
International Orders
We are unable to ship outside of New Zealand as well as to Stewart Island, Chatham Island or to Great Barrier Island for the website orders.
