Started in Hamilton, New Zealand, back in 1984 as a family business, we began as a small welding supply shop and have grown to be an official distributor of the industry's top manufacturers. Our team, including individuals who have been with us since the establishment, boasts over 30 years of experience in the welding industry. Over these years, we've witnessed many changes in the industry, and our team keeps pace by constantly learning and updating its knowledge, ensuring that we can pass this expertise on to our customers. Welding is our passion, and this approach resonates throughout our entire team, from directors down to the shop floor. Embracing Growth: From Family Roots to Industry Integration…Starting from April 2nd, 2024, we are operating as part of the esteemed South Pacific Welding Group, while retaining our trusted trade name, ARC Welding & Safety Supplies, under the ownership of BOC Ltd. This transition marks an important milestone for us, allowing us to offer our customers an even wider range of products while maintaining our unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service and efficiency. BOC Ltd is a part of the Linde Group established in the late 19th Century by the brothers Arthur and Leon Brin after they took out their first patents on a chemical process for separating oxygen. The constant development of the company has made it an international powerhouse with a diverse product supply and a large investment portfolio.
