Hypertherm SMARTSYNC Cartridges. Mechanized and FineCut
The Hypertherm cartridge consumable platform is a revolutionary change to standard air plasma consumables.
Each single-piece cartridge is optimized by process and amperage to ensure performance while dramatically simplfying the parts needed to cut or gouge with plasma.
Ohmic Ring is used an optinal part to mechanisezed cartridge.
The ohmic contact ring clips onto the mechanized cartridge, and connects it via electrical wire to torch height controls (THCs) that support the use of ohmic contact to find the surface of the workpiece before each cut. 'Ohmic contact' referes to the electrical connection made between the torch and the workpiece when the torch touches the workpiece during initial height sensing.

- SmartSYNC™ torches for the Powermax SYNC™ systems
- Duramax® torches using a torch adapter for Powermax 45® XP/65/85/105 system
- Can be used with Machine Torches.
- Can be on hand torches if a stand-off is desired.

FineCut:
FineCut® merchanized cuttig cartridges produce a narrower kerf on thin mild steel and stainless steel up to 3 mm (10 gauge) which is ideal for fine detail cutting.
30–45 A FineCut – mechanized cartridges are compatible with:
- SmartSYNC® torches for the Powermax65/85/105 SYNC® systems
- Duramax® torches using a torch adapter for Powermax45® XP/65/85/105 systems
