The wire conduit liner plays an important part in the delivery of welding wire. Occasionally, they need to be replaced.
If the liner becomes clogged, either with residue scaling off the weld wire or from dirt in the shop enviornment, the result can be poor wire feed, backlashing or burnbacks.
For the little they cost, it's worthwile changing them on a regular basis
